Easy going, can rough it very well, but like the occasional shower and clean hotel bed as well. I saw this video by Pierre Fritsch (he’s on youtube), he walked from Nouadhibou to Choum and then on to Chinguetti, by himself. I would like to do something similar, but not alone, so I’m looking for someone to plan this trip with. I have crossed the Sahara three times by car, and desert keeps calling me back, I just love the endlessness of it, the emptiness, the different types of desert, from sandy to rocky, from flat to mountainous. And the generosity and hospitality of the local people always amaze me. My plan is to do the trip in November/December 2023, so there’s still plenty of time.
