VIETNAM HIGHLIGHTS 6 DAYS 5 NIGHTS ITINERARY IN DETAILS DAY 01: HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL Xin Chao! Welcome to Ho Chi Minh, one of Asia’s most enchanting cities, full of culture and history. Meeting your driver at the airport and transfer to hotel in the centre. Check in and free time for relax. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. DAY 02: HO CHI MINH CITY TOUR - CU CHI TUNNELS (B/L) 7:30am – 8:15 am: tour guide pick you at your hotel Take the morning trip to visit Independence Palace, also known at the Reunification palace, was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace. The Independence palace is a widely known landmark of Ho Chi Minh City and was designed by the architect Ngo Viet Thu. Continue seeing the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times such as the Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office. Followed by the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum the museum has a vast display of the both the Indochina wars. Have lunch at local restaurant. Depart for Cu Chi tunnel, the trip will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served. Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun. Return to Saigon. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. DAY 03: HO CHI MINH- FLIGHT TO HANOI (B/L) Today flight to Hanoi, Capita city. Upon arrival, driver take you to your hotel in the central to check in. Free time for relaxing. Overnight in Hanoi. DAY 04: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B/L/D) Heading to Halong Bay. After check-in and security briefings, you will set sail, join us for a typical local lunch in the dining room or at the outdoor dining area. Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the Bay and its dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters. Exploring the bay on kayak or comfortably capture the daily life of the fishermen on bamboo boat rowed by the locals. Relaxing on the boat or enjoy swimming at Ti Top Island, also climbing up to the peak point of the island for a breathtaking panoramic view of the bay. In the early evening, Summit on the sundeck watching the sunset, enjoy our pre-dinner local wine appetizer. Enjoy authentic Vietnamese menu for dinner and then relax or joining some activities: book reading, games, movies, and squid fishing… Overnight on Cruise. Back to the wharf. Come back to Hanoi. Free time for shopping in the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi. DAY 06: HANOI DEPARTURE DEPARTURE (B) Free time on your own until check out and transfer to airport depart for flight to next destination. Good bye! End of services.
