I'll be in Taiwan from June 20-26, but will have plans from June 22 onwards. This is my first time to Taiwan, so I'm looking to meet a few locals and experience the sights that Taiwan has to offer.

Places I want to see: I am planning to visit Hualien Taroko National Park on June 20 (Thurs) and maybe Jiufen on June 21 (Fri), but it's pretty free and easy for those 2 days.
Things I want to do: Sightseeing, Eating, Shopping, Trekking, maybe visit one of the hot springs if time permits.
