My maiden voyage after 12 years haitus

Since I've moved to the States 12 years ago, I've only done backpack and road trips within the CONTUS . I dubbed this trip as my maiden voyage as I started a travel blog (All-out Walkabout) and I'm planning to use this my launching pad for more trips.

Things I want to do: Sample all kinds of foods, visit a bunch of temples and palaces, buy some random trinkets, take lots of photos, and immerse myself in the Thai culture as much as possible. I'm not huge into the touristy stuff, so whatever I do tends to be more off the beaten path.
