Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavík Morning: Arrive in Reykjavík, the capital of Iceland, and take the airport bus or cab to the city center. Noon: check in and have a short rest. Afternoon: Sightseeing in downtown Reykjavík, visit Hallgrímskirkja, the city's landmark, and climb to the top for a great view of the whole city. Afterwards, take a stroll through the city's Old Harbor area for a unique cultural experience! Evening: Enjoy local specialties at a downtown restaurant and try Icelandic lamb or seafood! Day 2: Golden Circle The Golden Circle is Iceland's most famous driving tour and includes several classic sights for a great first day out! Morning: From Reykjavík, the first stop is Þingvellir National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of Iceland's first ever parliament. This is a beautiful fault line where visitors can walk at the junction of crustal plates. Noon: Visit Geysir, where the Great Geyser (Strokkur) erupts spectacularly every few minutes. Afternoon: Visit the Golden Waterfall (Gullfoss), this waterfall is famous for its magnificent spectacle of flowing water and is one of Iceland's most famous natural attractions. Evening: return to Reykjavík, with the option of sampling some traditional Icelandic meals in a nearby town on the way! Day 3: South Coast The South Coast is rich in natural beauty, including glaciers, waterfalls and black sand beaches, making it a must-see destination on any Icelandic tour. Morning: Depart Reykjavík and make your first stop at Seljalandsfoss, a trail that takes you to the back of the waterfall and gives you a different perspective of the falls. Noon: Visit Skogafoss, one of the largest waterfalls in Iceland at 60 meters high. You can climb the stairs next to the waterfall for a full view of the waterfall. Afternoon: Head to Black Beach (Reynisfjara), Iceland's most famous beach, known for its black volcanic sand and strange basalt columns. The nearby Dyrhólaey rock is also great for photos. Evening: check in at the small town of Vík for a rural experience!

Places I want to see: Day 4: Ice Lakes & Glaciers (Jökulsárlón & Vatnajökull) Morning: Depart Vík and drive to Jökulsárlón, a magnificent glacial lake with huge ice blocks floating on its surface and a dreamlike view. You can choose to join the Ice Lake Cruise to see the floating ice blocks up close in the glacial lake. Noon: Stroll along Diamond Beach near the glacial lake, where many ice blocks are washed up by the waves for a unique view. Afternoon: Visit Vatnajökull National Park, where you can choose to take part in activities such as glacier hiking, glacier caving or snowmobiling. Evening: enjoy a quiet night in an overnight stay around the glacial lake Day 5: East Fjords Morning: From the glacial lagoon, drive along the fjord route in eastern Iceland. This area is relatively untouched by tourists and boasts stunning natural beauty. Lunch: stop in the small town of Egilsstaðir to sample local specialties. Afternoon: Continue along the coastline and explore the villages and unspoiled nature of the east. Evening: check in to a traditional fishing village in the eastern fjords and enjoy a peaceful evening! Day 6: Northern Iceland (Akureyri & Lake Mývatn) Morning: Departure from the east to Akureyri, Iceland's second largest city. You can visit the Akureyri Botanical Gardens and the local church (Akureyri Church). Noon: Continue traveling east to Lake Mývatn, a volcanic lake known for its abundant birdlife and peculiar geothermal activity. Afternoon: Visit the geothermal areas around Lake Mývatn, such as the Námaskarð and Dimmuborgir volcanic rock areas, for a volcanic experience. Evening: Stay overnight around Lake Mi and enjoy the peace and beauty of the night!
