Seville to Lisbon, through southern coast: Algarve
15. 6. - 6. 7. 2022 (22 day trip)
Portugal Spain
I am doing a roadtrip with own (family´s) car from Seville passing in Cádiz, Huelva, and nearby places, towards Algarve (south of Portugal) until reaching my home (Lisbon/Cascais/Sintra). It is a flexible trip, to relax. My idea is to take around 20-25 days, and spend nights in several cities along the way, like Seville, Cádiz, Huelva, Monte Gordo/Vila Real Santo Antonio, Tavira, Odemira, Portimão/Praia da Rocha, Quarteira, Albufeira, Vilamoura, Lagos, Salema, Vila do Bispo, Vila Nova de Mil Fontes, Aljezur, Santiago do Cacém, Comporta, Tróia, Setúbal, Sesimbra, Almada, Lisbon/Cascais/Sintra. I am from Lisbon region. I have been in south of Portugal and Spain before, but never visited some of the towns above and the others I have visit, it was a long time ago. I speak portuguese and spanish, so it can be an advantage tagging along with me. I am alone at the moment for the trip and can bring 3 people along in the car.

Things I want to do: Beach, SPA, local experiences, explore night life, read, chill out, visits (tours, museums, parks, attend local Meetup events, etc). Spend a good time in good company, talking about anything, and sharing past life experiences. I am thinking about camping several days to reduce costs and to explore life in camping sites as well, where normally there are people gathering and events happening, but also I am looking to stay some days in Pousadas (accommodations in Portugal, kind of hostel, but normally with better quality), and some few days in hotels to spend time in a pool, have a good night sleep, or just attend the hotel to explore local experiences like water circuits, thermal SPAs or massages available at a cheaper price, from websites like lifecooler, odisseias, etc. I am also open to suggestions.
